Summer Update

It's been a pretty good year so far for the Sterling Seven. I've sold a few more books, and am still in most of the independant shops in Vancouver, as well as my local Sav-on-Foods book department.
I did a great book signing at Granville Island's Blackberry Books during the Olympics and will do another to coincide with the NHL season starting next month. In June I visited Cloverdale Catholic School to give an hour presentation about Clancy and The Sterling Seven, lots of fun!

Bookstore Update

After a good weekend of visiting Vancouver stores, The Sterling Seven is now available on the shelves of the following bookstores:

Duthie Books, 4th Ave
Blackberry Books, Granville Island
Kidsbooks, Edgemont Village
Black Bond Books, Lynn Valley
32 Books, Edgemont Village

I'm close to getting into my local Sav-On Foods which has a nice book department.

This week I got my first books on bookstore shevles. A great shop called 32 Books in Edgemont Village, North Van has put them in their front window display.

First copy received!

I got the first copy in the mail yesterday and I must say I am extremely happy with the quality of the book.

Artwork approved

Yesterday I approved the final artwork for the galley and cover of the new book. Should be online within two weeks!

The Sterling Seven is hockey's first team ever and has a difficult time finding other teams to provide a challenge. They find that being too good has it's drawbacks and the need for a true test is what brings the team together.
